  • Galatians 2:1-9 continue Paul’s story.  What is the significance of Paul and the church leaders “comparing notes” in Galatians 2:2?

  • The Galatians were trying to mix Judaism and Christianity. How was Paul refuting this error?

  • Discuss the significance of Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles being affirmed by the Church Leaders in Jerusalem.

  • Discuss the confrontation described between Paul and Peter in Galatians 2:11-16.

  • Are there ways that the pressure of peers and the fear of the opinions of others have influenced the way in which you Pursue God?

  • Consider Galatians 2:19 for a moment.  How would you contrast living by the law and living for God?

  • Consider Galatians 2:20-21. How are believers crucified with Christ?  Discuss what that means practically.

  • How does one live by “trusting in Jesus”?

  • What would prevent us from treating “God’s grace as meaningless”? (Galatians 2:21)

  • Did anything stand out in your reading today that you could share with someone else?
