Prayer is a relationship. It’s a partnership!
Who you THINK you are is not who God KNOWS you are!
The Scriptures and some of Dave’s Unedited Notes.
*** “I am convinced that renewal is possible anywhere people dedicate themselves to prayer”.
“In Korea, I find it easier to preach than almost anywhere else. When I preach the Word of God, sinners immediately respond for salvation. Why do we have this spiritual atmosphere? The answer is prayer. Prayer not only produces corporate power, but it produces individual power as well.” Paul Y. Cho
Supernatural Partnership; (a divine invitation)
*We have been invited into a Divine, supernatural partnership with the eternal God, the Lord Jesus Christ, to share and participate as partakes in and from His Divine Nature.
*A place of surrender to become All of who Christ says we are.
A place of Abiding and residing IN Christ
A place of continual mind renewal that brings Transformation to Christ’ likeness(Rom 12:2; 8:29)
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.
We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises.
These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.”
2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT
*Partnering with God’s Divine nature involves us speaking the “Amen” to the promises!!!
“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!”
And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.
It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ.
He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 NLT
(( “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV))
*Prayer and Intercession is speaking the Amen, which agrees with the resounding “YES” that Father has already spoken concerning every Promise that God has made!

*** “If prayer puts God to work on earth, then, by the same token, prayerlessness rules God out of world affairs and prevents Him from working. In reality the denial of prayer is a denial of God Himself, for God and prayer are so inseparable that they can never be divorced.” E. M. Bounds
Supernatural Empowerment; (the natural infused with the supernatural)
*From God’s perspective, we are not defined by our past or our circumstances, but rather our lives are to be defined by God’s Word and our destiny.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” Jeremiah 29:11-14 NLT
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” Psalms 139:13-18 NLT
*God’s Divine and supernatural Power has been given to every Believer, every son and daughter. Each one who has put off the old and put on the new, being IN Christ
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.”
2 Peter 1:3 NLT
“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” Romans 8:11 NLT
Supernatural Activation; (prayer in faith, believing the truth more than our past)
*Faith is belief activated. Faith is the capacity to believe and act upon that belief.
*Belief and faith are our part of the partnership. The measure of faith has already been given, God’s part; now our part is to activate by abiding and surrender.
***”The law of prayer is the law of harvest: Sow sparingly in prayer, reap sparingly; sow bountifully in prayer, reap bountifully. The trouble is we are trying to get from our efforts what we never put into them.” Leonard Ravenhill
“Such a prayer offered in faith
will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
(Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.”)
James 5:15-18 NLT
“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own,
but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
You can ask for anything in my name, (in My character and nature)
and I will do it,
so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.
Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! “. (His character and nature )
If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.
The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him.
But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”
John 14:10, 12-17 NLT
“And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John 5:11-15 NLT
“Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.
Do you believe this, Martha?”
- Do I Believe what Jesus said? Do you believe what Jesus said??
So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me,
but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.”” John 11:25-26, 41-42 NLT
*what is my Belief about my prayers?
About who I think I am?.
About who God is??
About people? Do people really need a Savior, a Redeemer?
Is Jesus the Only Way? (“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”” Acts 4:12 NLT)
